Shamelessly stolen from Maskwa's LiveJournal.

Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your blog and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

Ready... Set... FAKE!

Well, the doctor said he couldn't feel anything (a good sign!) but that he's going to send me for a CT Scan just in case. (OOO Yeah! more waiting!)

What a weekend. It was fun but busy, busy. I didn't want to come to work this morning (although that isn't very different from most Monday mornings!)

Friday we were at James and La's for gaming. Supper was yummy (thanks again James) and conversation was good. James was BBQ-ing when the wind picked up. He had time to turn off the BBQ, get in the house and close the door before the biggest dust storm I've every seen came up. You couldn't see the trees 50 feet from the house. It felt like a glimpse from the '30s.

Saturday was a WONDERFUL day. My mom came into the city and brought my niece, Cortney with her. We dropped Cortney with Eric and Aria for a few hours and went fabric shopping for fabric to make practice dresses for the wedding (testing patterns). I got enough fabric for three garments for $20. I was impressed. After we picked up the girls, we went to the zoo. Most of the animals were still inside but it was still really fun. The sealions were the most impressive (funny, they're one of the few things I remember from the zoo when I was three). We got to see them being fed and they would jump up on to the side of the pool by the glass and fall backwards into the pool. It was very cute.

In the evening we (being Davyd and I, not Mom and the girls and I) went to Gorra's birthday party. It was fun. Mostly just lounging around and talking. We don't spend enough time just talking. Must remember to buy B-day present for Gorra!

Sunday, we went to see Romeo and Juliet. Star recommended it as all the fighting was Capoeria. It was fun but still Romeo and Juliet (my least favourite Shakespeare. Angst, angst, angst. Blek! :P ). We spent the evening just hanging out with Eric and Star.

All in all, a good weekend but my house is still a mess. I guess I should do something about that this evening...

This morning I woke up from a dream. Now, I don't generally dream but when I do they're really weird.

(For example, I've dreamt I was a pregnant Chinese woman who was running through the trees being shot at by terrorists.)

This morning's dream went along the lines of Cam giving me a pamphlet (It wasn't just any normal paper pamphlet though, it had moving pictures!) about these horrible atrocities the government was doing to people in prison. Things like amputating their arms and legs for no good reason. Removing there faces. And making them play basketball.

I woke up totally wigged and couldn't get back to sleep.

Where do I come up with this stuff?!

I've been trying to plan a honeymoon for me and Davyd. We're planning on going to Vancouver and Vancouver Island for a week to ten days in October. I've been down there before (I lived in the area for almost a year (chopped into three parts)) but I never got to do a lot of the "touristy" things.

Does any one have suggestions for places to go or things to do? Do you have suggestions of things you did on you're honeymoon that were fun? (I mean other than the obvious) ;) Things you wish you'd done differently?

Spring is officially here. I saw a robin this morning on my way to the bus. It also SMELLS like spring!

For those who haven't heard, I have an appointment with the ear, nose and throat speciallist on Apr. 29. I need to have a positive biopsy before the Cross will re-admit me. So here's hoping...

Last week I found a lump in my neck.

Today, I'm going to the doctor to get it checked out. Hopefully it just me being paranoid and not the Hodgkins come back. Part of me is really scared. I don't want to do chemo again or (heaven forbid) radiation. Especially before my wedding. Another part of me is trying not to worry. I don't know that there's actually anything wrong so it's wasted energy. Part of me just wants to stick my head in the sand and pretend there's nothing there. Mostly I know that's not an option because it will only make it worse.

I don't want y'all to worry too much, at least not until I know anything for sure. Besides, I've kicked its ass once, I'm sure I can take it this round too. ;)

I think the snow may be my fault...

I finished the toque I was knitting Davyd. Now he has an excuse to wear it. :)

Mouse Update:

I took the boys back to the pet store today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The girl who took them was trilled to see how cute they are and said that they would leave them in the back for a while before they go out for sale. She wanted them to grow a little more before putting them in with the adults (they would probably be picked on).

On Satuday, Star came over and took pictures of the babies (Thanks babe!). They turned out really well. Hopefully I can get some of them scanned soon and put up so y'all can see them. (Star or Raven could I use some of your space for a while?)

Mouse Update:

The babies turned 3 weeks yesterday and to honour the day, I sexed them.

(Drum roll, please).

There are 6 boys and 1 girl.

The girl (Ginger) is the light calico. Davyd and I were planning on keeping one of the babies and I guess she'll be it. In some ways I'm glad because I don't think I could pick between them; there all too cute. She seems to be the friendliest anyway. I had them in the bathtub (without water) (because they can't escape from there) and Ginger will climb right up into my hand. None of the others will.

We are going to take them back to the pet store tomorrow or Saturday. It makes me sad, but it has to be done. . .
